Historigraphics was founded in 1984 to celebrate historical themes through the artistic use of graphic images and solid historical research.

The originator of the concept, Richard Apple, has an M.A. in History and Media Production, 30 years of graphic arts experience, and a long family tradition in graphic arts, stretching back almost a century.

Apple is joined by a team of professional historians, archivists,
screenwriters, and public relations experts, all of whom collaborate in their love of history, art, and the exercise of state-of-the-art communications skills.
